Our Power Projects team is excited to announce a recently secured high-voltage transmission connection project in Queensland for a significant renewable energy development. We invite experienced construction managers or ambitious individuals ready to step into this role to join our highly regarded team. This role will require FIFO or DIDO on a 20:8 roster. You will receive a generous salary package, site uplift, and LAHA. As part of a larger team, you will work closely with the project manager and frontline leaders, providing practical construction services to ensure the project is delivered within time, budget, and quality parameters.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Management and supervision of subcontractors, supervisors & field staff
- Leads delivery team and ensures quality delivery of planning and scheduling according to project requirements.
- Ensure project documents are complete and to document control standards.
- Lead by example and continually promote relevant aspects of Zero Harm when engaging with operational teams.
- Contributes to the development of project strategy, business plan and budget.
ABOUT YOU
- Trade or tertiary qualified with an electrical/mechanical fitters’ licence and a certificate IV in WH&S preferred.
- Exposure to HV Power Transmission or Substation projects
- Demonstrable experience in construction, risk, OHS, quality, and environmental management.
- Good communication skills with the ability to engage with key stakeholders up and downstream.
